UConn Hartford Mission Statement

UConn Hartford prepares the next generation of leaders by delivering teaching excellence, interdisciplinary and innovative research, rigorous academic programs, engaged experiential learning opportunities, and solution- oriented services in the state capital that change communities for the better. UConn Hartford offers a diverse local population access to top-quality educational experience while our size allows undergraduate and graduate students to thrive in an intimate and supportive atmosphere within our preeminent public university.

In the context of limited funding, proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Proposals will be reviewed by the Director’s Office. All applicants should apply for funds through the UCPEA professional development program and, if reporting to Storrs, to their home departments before requesting funds from UConn Hartford sources. Efforts must be made to identify and utilize UConn and/or Hartford-based development resources. Team and interdepartmental proposals are welcome, including proposals with Hartford-based partners.
