Community Collaborations Funding Request

The UConn Hartford Director’s Office offers funding for education-based collaborations with the Hartford community that enhance our students’ learning experience. Limited awards (ranging from $50-$1,000) are available to support teaching and curricular initiatives that integrate classroom learning with the Hartford community. Examples include: field trips, entry fees, hosting speakers on campus, and multi-class/interdisciplinary collaborations.

Proposals from any UConn Hartford faculty or staff (including all instructors), will be given priority. Non-UConn Hartford faculty and staff are also eligible to submit proposals.

Preference will be given to submissions submitted by October 15 (Fall semester) and February 15 (Spring semester). Proposals for summer and winter sessions also accepted on a rolling basis.

Proposals will be reviewed by members of the Faculty Council.

Only one grant per department will be approved each semester.
