Work Study Student Employment (most common)
Work Study is available to students that have been awarded Work Study through their FAFSA
(Financial Aid) application. Work Study is awarded to students for the entire academic year, and the total amount awarded is split between the Fall and Spring semesters. Work Study students can only work during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Work Study Student Employment Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Important Dates:

August 1, 2025 – Deadline to accept Work‑Study award online.

August 22, 2025 – Work‑Study begins.

September 19, 2025 – Deadline to secure employment.

September 26, 2025 – Deadline for departments to process hires in CORE‑CT.

Student Labor Student Employment (limited availability)
Student Labor Student Employment is available to students who have not been awarded Work
Study. Student Labor students can work year-round, including Fall/Spring Semesters and
Winter/Summer Intersessions.
